What is Open Gym at CrossFit Indiana?

At CrossFit Indiana, we understand that flexibility and personalized training are key to achieving your fitness goals. That's why we are excited to offer Open Gym hours at our box.
Open Gym is a designated time when our facility is available for you to use at your own pace.

Here’s what you need to know about Open Gym:

  1. Reserve your spot in PushPress
  2. Check In using the iPad when you arrive
  3. Clean up after yourself before you go
  4. Cancel your reservation if you cannot make it, or if your plans change.

Personalized Training
During Open Gym, you have the freedom to focus on specific skills, techniques, or workouts that you want to improve. This is an excellent opportunity to work on areas that need extra attention, whether it’s perfecting your lifting form, increasing your endurance, or practicing new CrossFit movements.

Access to Equipment
You'll have access to all the equipment available in our box, including barbells, weights, kettlebells, rowing machines, pull-up bars, and more.

Coach Support
While Open Gym is more self-directed, our knowledgeable coaches are often available to provide guidance, answer questions, and ensure you’re training safely. Don’t hesitate to ask for help or tips on improving your performance.

Community Atmosphere
Even though you’re working independently, Open Gym is a great time to connect with fellow members. Share tips, cheer each other on, and enjoy the camaraderie that makes CrossFit Indiana special.

Program Flexibility
Open Gym is perfect if you’re following a personalized training program or supplementary workout plan. It gives you the freedom to tailor your workouts according to your needs and progress.

Respect and Safety

Remember to respect the space and equipment, clean up after yourself, and be mindful of others working out around you. Safety is our top priority, so always follow gym rules and guidelines.

At CrossFit Indiana OPEN GYM is only IN COMBINATION WITH a Class membership. Open Gym will not be sold seperartely.

OPEN GYM RULES

  • Not Signed In = No Access. We work by appointment only. Make sure you are signed in BEFORE you access open gym. Reservations open 1 week prior and close 1 hour before scheduled Open Gym Hours. If your plans change, please remove your reservation.
  • Display your gym etiquette by returning equipment after you use them, and cleaning your training space. Leave the gym like you entered.
  • NO MACHINES OUTDOORS.
  • Be kind. Work hard. Stay humble. Do not exclude anyone. Take the time to greet your fellow gym members and take each other into account (share equipment, space, etc). After all, these are the people that you are going to shed sweat, and (maybe) tears with. A CrossFit gym can be very intimidating. Always remember where you come from. A warm and friendly introduction can really make everyone feel welcome.
  • ALWAYS respect (the equipment) and listen to the Coach:
    – If a Coach asks you to do something, just do it.
    – If a Coach asks you to refrain from a certain unskilled movement during Open Gym, you’ll be asked to stop.
    – If you’re seen doing something sketchy, you’ll be asked to stop.
  • Have a plan! Nevertheless, there is always a Coach present in the box during opening hours, but he or she will not be coaching during Open Gym. The coach might be leading a class or be doing other work. It’s your own responsibility to have a plan. Open Gym is uncoached.
  • Open Gym is available to all Unlimited members at no additional cost. Limited memberships can add open gym for $15 per billing cycle.
